Jacky obtained his LLB degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and served his pupillage under Frederick Chan, Philip Dykes SC, Derek Chan SC, Victor Dawes SC, and Russell Coleman SC. He joined Chambers in May 2020.
Since commencing his practice as a solicitor at an international firm, Jacky has been developing his practice in securities regulatory matters (advising and representing parties on market misconduct issues) and on a wide range of civil and commercial disputes in both litigation and arbitration contexts.
Jacky has appeared as an advocate in his own right at the High Court, District Court and Magistrates Court levels, and also as prosecution counsel at the Magistrates Court level. He is also on the Legal Aid Panel for commercial litigation matters, and participant of the Convention Against Torture & Non-Refoulement Claims Scheme.
Moreover, Jacky is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitratiors (MCIArb) as well as an HKMAAL Accredited Mediator.
He is conversant in Putonghua and able to conduct trial in Cantonese/Punti.
