Michelle read law at Jesus College, University of Cambridge, where she obtained a BA (Hons) in Law. She subsequently completed her PCLL at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. 

Michelle joined Chambers in 2021 after serving her pupillage with Mr Derek Chan SC, Mr Michael Arthur, Ms. Catherine Wong, and Mr Tony Ko. She also served as marshal to Deputy High Court Judge Andrew Bruce SC at the High Court in the month of September 2021. 

Michelle has been developing a strong interest in all criminal matters since her undergraduate studies, including but not limited to dishonest offences, drugs offences, offences against the person and white-collar offences. Nevertheless, she is now developing a broad criminal as well as civil practice and accepts instructions in all practice areas. 

Michelle is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
