Aaron was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 2019. He holds an LLB from the University of Hong Kong and an LLM from the University of Cambridge. He was awarded multiple scholarships during his studies.

He maintains a broad criminal and civil practice. He regularly appears in criminal proceedings at various levels of the courts, as well as in disciplinary proceedings and independent inquiries, including proceedings before the Independent Committee in relation to the fire at Wang Fuk Court in Tai Po.

His civil practice encompasses commercial disputes, particularly those involving the Hong Kong Listing Rules and cross-border matters.

Before joining Chambers, he served as Government Counsel at the Hong Kong Department of Justice for several years. He continues to be regularly instructed by the Department of Justice in criminal prosecutions and judicial review matters.

He is also a part-time lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, where he teaches criminal law. In addition, he has authored annotations for Westlaw’s Annotated Legislation project.

He is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
