Kasper joined Chambers upon completion of his pupillage with Mr. Martin Hui SC, Mr. Derek Chan SC, Mr. Tony Li SC, Ms. Queenie Lau (now Ms. Queenie Lau SC), and Mr. Ernest Ng. Kasper is a Charles Ching Scholar of 2023.
Kasper read law at the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he graduated with first class honours. He also holds a Master of Laws in International Law from St. John’s College, University of Cambridge. Throughout his studies, Kasper was awarded more than 15 scholarships and prizes for his academic and mooting achievements.
Kasper was an avid mooter at university. In particular, he was oralist for CUHK at the 2019-2020 Willem C. Vis East International Arbitration Moot, where CUHK were crowned champion. Since then, Kasper has served as a coach and a consultant to the team.
Kasper is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, and accepts instructions in all areas of chambers’ practice, with a particular focus in criminal matters. He has experience in white collar crimes, drug related offences, sexual offences, traffic offences and dishonesty related offences, having worked on criminal matters spanning from the Magistrates’ Court to the Court of Final Appeal.
Additionally, Kasper was a member of the Hong Kong Bar Association International Laws Committee between 2024-2025.

HKSAR v Yuen Chi Ping, Eddie and Others DCCC469/2022, [2024] HKDC 1123
Led by Mr. Derek Chan SC, together with Mr. Mike Yeung represented the 2nd Defendant and secured an acquittal on all counts of conspiracy to defraud charges in cases regarding allegations of conspiracy to defraud the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and investors through concealing connected transactions

Led by Ms. Priscilia Lam SC, represented the Law Society of Hong Kong as prosecutors to prove the complaint made against the Respondent. In accepting the Prosecutor’s submissions, the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal found that the complaint was duly prove and ordered the Respondent to be struck off the Roll of Solicitors.
HKSAR v. Chan Hei Man HCMA438/2024, [2026] HKCFI 1420
Led by Mr. Tony Li SC, represented a nurse convicted of stealing her colleague’s Airpods. On appeal, the Court agreed with the appellant’s submissions, namely that the lack of clarity in the prosecution’s case caused injustice to the appellant, and made a retrial at this stage impossible. Accordingly, the Court allowed the appeal, and quashed the conviction.
HKSAR v Tung Hoi-Yee Kenneth ESCC 1217/2025
Led by Ms. Vinci Lam SC, represented a defendant charged with assaulting his wife in their former matrimonial home. After trial, the Magistrate accepted the defence’s submissions entirely, in particular that the wife’s testimony was incredible and unreasonable, and accordingly acquitted the defendant with costs.
