Sharon S.Y. Ho
Sharon was called to the Bar in 2017 and joined Chambers immediately after completing her pupillage with Mr. Peter Duncan SC, Mr Ashok Sakhrani, Mr M C Law and Ms Yvonne Fong.
In the same year as she joined Chambers, Sharon was awarded the Charles Ching Memorial Scholarship from the Hong Kong Bar Association.
Sharon graduated from the Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford in 2014 with a Distinction in Competition Law. Before that, she obtained an L.L.B (Hons) from the University of Manchester and graudated therefrom with a prize from the Manchester Law Society as recognition of her work in the Manchester Legal Advice Centres and for launching the Wai Yin Legal Advice Centre as a student director. She completed her PCLL at the University of Hong Kong.
Sharon is developing a broad civil and criminal practice and accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers' work. She has diverse interest in all legal areas and in particular, Competition law. She has also appeared in various levels of courts both as a led junior and an advocate in her own right and had acted as a counsel on fiat for the Securities and Futures Commission. Sharon is fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
