SHARON S.Y. HO

Sharon was called to the Bar in 2017 and joined Chambers in the same year upon successful completion of her pupillage with Mr. Peter Duncan SC, Mr. Law Man-Chung SC, Mr. Ashok Sakhrani and Ms. Yvonne Fong. In 2017, Sharon was also awarded the Charles Ching Memorial Scholarship from the Hong Kong Bar Association.

Prior to joining Chambers, Sharon obtained her LLB(Hons) from the University of Manchester where she obtained a prize from the Manchester Law Society and was the top 12% of her year in her second year of studies. Subsequently, she undertook the Bachelor of Civil Law at the University of Oxford and graduated with a Distinction in Competition Law.

Since commencement of practise, Sharon has appeared in various levels of courts as a led junior, an advocate in her own right as well as prosecution on-fiat. She has been developing a broad civil and criminal practice and has a particular interest in Competition law. In between January to March 2020, Sharon was seconded to the Hong Kong Competition Commission as a legal consultant for three months. 

Sharon accepts instructions in all areas of practise and is fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin and English.
