Plowman Chambers is pleased to announce the joining of Manalie Chan & Eileen Lee.
Manalie commenced full practice in 2020 after completing her pupillage with Mr. Peter Duncan SC, Mr. Bruce Tse SC, Mr. Valentine Yim, Ms. Yvonne Fong and Mr. Lincoln Cheung. She has developed an active practice in both criminal and civil law, with a focus on criminal law, family and matrimonial matters, and land and property disputes. Her experience covers a broad range of cases, including white-collar crimes, dishonesty offences, regulatory matters, bankruptcy, insolvency, company law, construction disputes, medical negligence, and probate. Eileen joined Chambers upon completion of her pupillage with Mr. Derek Chan SC, Ms. Maggie Wong SC, Mr. Osmond Lam, Mr. Eugene Yim and Mr. Isaac Chan. Prior to joining Chambers, she obtained her LLB and PCLL at the University of Hong Kong. She then obtained her Master of Laws (International Dispute Resolution) from King’s College London. During her LLM, she represented KCL in the 2022 Day of Crisis Moot Competition, where her team won Best Written Submissions and third place in Best Team. She is developing a broad civil and criminal practice, with experience in white-collar crime, matrimonial matters, personal injuries, land disputes, torture claims appeal board and medical council.
